Log files

Directory A is used for the EG log files. EG keeps two rolling 28 day log files for maintenance and troubleshooting purposes:

  • A + [Date stamp].log
    This file records all spur alarms and events.

  • O + [Date stamp].log
    This file records all online/offline status and sign-on messages.

  • S + [Date stamp].log
    This file records all spur traffic network messages.

Log messages are in DyNet2 format. You can download these files via the web server or when connected to the EG via Ethernet you can right-click the EG and select Manage Log Files. You can then open and view them in the SB Monitor window.

Copy the files to a local drive and in the SB Monitor window, click the Network Log tab. You can then use the Network Log toolbar to open and view the downloaded log files.
